Hello everyone,
To debut our new book, It's Okay NOT to be a Seventh-day Adventist," we have scanned some of the news clippings from the 19th century (except the last one) we used as part of our research for the book.
Please scroll down the page to see the scans. Please keep in mind they are all copyright protected by the Library of Congress. Also, when you see the dates, keep in mind that the Millerites broke up after the Great Disappointment of October 22, 1844. Some of them formed other groups that continued to set dates and again were disappointed. The Jehovah's Witnesses came from one of those groups.
For more information and more stories of the Millerite Movement please purchase the book at Amazon.com.

MARK OF THE BEAST
Hi everyone,
I found this on youtube. I think it is a great example of what Adventists believe about the end-times. Arthur and I were taught that the mark of the beast was going to church on Sunday. No, really, I am not kidding. As we were producing the book and having it edited, so many people simply did not believe I was serious. They thought perhaps I had been raised in a very fringe group of Adventists. Well, here's a typical sermon by an SDA pastor about the Mark of the BEAST!! Honestly, it is my fervent prayer that we pray for Adventists. It's easy to make fun of them, but they are my family and friends.
Note: The video has been removed from Youtube.
GET TO KNOW AN ADVENTIST TODAY!! Then you can help dispel their cherished myth that one day they will be hunted down, tortured and maybe even killed for being a Sabbatarian (like their prophetess Ellen White prophesies in her book Great Controversy.)

TAKING AMAZON BY STORM!
Well, not really... but its doing quite well. It MUST be the Olympics are detracting from media attention to the book.
I have been bouncing around in the Amazon sales rank in the 200,000 to 65,000 range. For not doing any advertising except by this blog and word-of-mouth that is pretty good.
Thanks for you people who have purchased it.
I am hoping we will have a little video put together in the next few weeks and even some scanned pictures that will back up what the book has sourced.
God Bless you,
Teresa Beem

IT'S BEEN PUBLISHED!
Well, after a long wait (I believe about five years) my husband and I have finally gotten our book completed and published. If there is anyone out there who would benefit from knowing about what Seventh-day Adventists believe or their fascinating history, send them here or to Amazon.com to check out our book.
It was written for not only former Adventists who feel they were hurt by Adventist doctrines or even other Adventists, but for those who have Adventist friends, family, neighbors or colleagues and would like to understand them better.
Blessing on you all,
Teresa Beem
